Well…yeah, not the best premiere. There’s not really a lot of players that stand out to me, other than the returnees (other than Brooke), Don, Lyndl, and Daniel. And…yep, my favorite player of the premiere…was the one unfairly sent out. Very depressing. And as for new host David…he was FINE, but…just awkward and rugged. Him reading the votes at tribal just felt really sloppy, and his speaking mannerisms aren’t the same as Jonathan’s was. So, not the best start at all. But I’ll stick with it for now.

Gotta love how it’s the very first shot of the entire season and they couldn’t edit out the sound of the hosts clambering feet as he attempts to do his best JLP impression.

Y’all are tweakin the episode was fine.
David is no JLP but no one is, he was good but needs to find his footing and get comfortable. Even Jeff was awkward when he first started hosting. Feel bad for Daniel but for a first boot it made sense. Hope Dirty Harry can pull this season out!
UGH. I am tired of Harry already . . . I hope they’re smart enough to get rid of him quickly.
Harry and Simon! My two favorite Australian survivors. And thanks for getting rid of that player first. Could tell they would get on my nerves.
David did fine. Fanboys just want perfection at the get go. Australian Survivor remains par from the original franchise. 2 tribe is a good start creating dynamic, conflict and more options to wiggle the politics, relationships and blindsides (unlike the US always pushing for 3 tribes)
I like the idea of a new host every season that’s a prior contestant more than sticking with just this guy. If they rotated it every season itd make the shaky hosting more pleasurable

So excited for this season.
American here that has watched every single episode of American survivor and every Australian since season 8. Australian as of recent has absolutely blown the American version out of the water. Recent American survivor is woke and soft. The three tribe thing is dumb and they do to many crazy ideas with idols and advantages.
100% agree, American here! Aus survivor has blown us survivor out of the water. I enjoy the cast way more, they actually play!! I get more excited to watch Australia than us. The new era season are really boring, cast is boring, the three tribes drive me crazy, only 26 days out there and they don’t even give them rice. I’m so happy to get the watch these seasons! David was hella awkward, should’ve kept JLP! Daniel was really fun to watch, sad to see him go he makes great tv. Short but sweet! lol
