Serioiusly the shelves in the sitting room Maree and James I loved that didnt need taking out, I even liked the area with the desk.  sometimes when you want to work on your computer you need a little nook but be close to family. These are supposed to be family houses yes?  Not posh pads for rich folks. 
Kids could use the space to do their homework but still be near their family to ask questions.  Seriously I DONT like the judging. 
Chole and Ben, the kitchen was totally in wrong place you come into the house and what do you see the KITCHEN, it kind of sat by a hallway.  putting an island bench will just make it more cramped. The kitchen should never have been there.
