Because she feared he would leave if she told her truth. She has been walking on eggshells all this time. He is 100% a narcissist.

I wonder if Kate has ever considered that she might be on the ASD spectrum? She really lacks empathy, doesn’t show emotion in her facial expressions, has never managed to have a relationship, struggles with social interaction, doesn’t seem comfortable with eye contact or affection. It’s not a criticism by any means, I’m genuinely just wondering. Many women on the spectrum go through life without a diagnosis as they mask their symptoms so well.

She’s been going through her whole life thinking that she’d be 100% thrilled if they could find a man who thinks she’s attractive. I think she’s out of her comfort zone because she’s never had to deal with a situation like this before.

Mitch reminds me of a couple a few seasons ago, I think the man’s name was Ivan and he was in real estate? I think this couple decided that they weren’t going to tell the experts anything. Eventually both of them left the experiment and came back? I’m not sure.
