Here’s a tip for non-Americans; not all Americans, or Texans, are Trump-loving anti-abortion cowboys. The references got old very quickly. Pointing out differences does nothing but fuel divisiveness. I hope they don’t do this for as far as they go in the series.

I thought it was sad what she thought of Texas. But it shows how powerful promotion and the media is. Now when I was younger and you mentioned Texas, people would think of the show “Dallas” and JR Ewing.

I was really put off by that. I’m only on this episode but if it continues, I won’t be watching. Stereotypes are just wrong. It would be easy for people to think that Aussies are full of fillers and gross tattoos all over their bodies. The women basically all look the same.

Thank you for posting all these shows so ppl like me in the US can watch. Its the best thing I’ve discovered from Reddit! Three years later and this show is still as popular. Another thing that’s popular in the US is our MAGA president! The stereotypes are so ugly in this episode. The US is a great country and I’m proud that we will be getting back on the right track here. Its sad that on the top of the Texans brides list was that we are a country concerned about our rights to life, especially when she so desperately wants a baby. You would think she would have more reguard for them. I wish her well but I don’t think she deserves the Texan she got.
