Georgia is better off without him. If he felt he could say all that and get away with it, then he’s nuts. What she said at the final ceremony was harsh, but he did put her down at that dinner party using his friends as an excuse to say what he was thinking himself. Then the way he walked out and pouted and finally, the straw was how he disrespected her at the cocktail party before the final dinner. What a jerk. I think I see why he hasn’t found anyone else to accept his “style”.
Think that anyone who blames Liam should check out the homophobic video that Georgia filmed with Jason & Johnny. Vile.

I’ ve been watiching this on tv here in the UK this week ..One thing I’ m left shocked about is why was Liam being bisexual actually even mentioned ..to his wife in private…absolutely ..to the rest of the group its non of their business! Here in tbe UK out of roughly 60 million of us its esitamted tbat 1in 4 or is jt 1in 5 fall intobthe LGBTQ category…myself included I’ m 54 & have identified as bisexual since I was about 11! Its just not an issue here…we even have a few trans newsreaders & weather reporters…we have a pretty open view of sex ,talk about sex openly & what people do in the privacy of their own bedroom…we dont care wbat you are!!

Couldn’t agree with you more Sue. I am from the UK too and absolutely shocked that such levels of emotional abuse are allowed to just run their course. Why didn’t the experts pull Melissa out? If it had been physical abuse they would never just stand by and watch. She has now had 2 baby boys with this man, who will no doubt turn into him when they get older with him. it is shocking, Misogyny and toxic masculinity is clearly rife in Australia – this would never be tolerated over here.
And as for the homophobia, it is totally archaic. I lived in Australia for a year, over 10 years ago and clearly nothing has moved on.

She is someone I couldn’t even be friendly to. The entire season she made trouble for Bryce (whether he deserved it or not) but was doing the exact same thing she accused him of. Also, that big stink about Jake & Booka–ridiculous. This all the while she had someone on the side. What a piece of work she is. Her “beauty” she feels she has won’t last forever and the true her comes through.

WOW totally agree with you helle and mafs1, i enjoyed this series so much, it gets better and better. i was not surprised at cruella de bec revelation, i knew she never liked jake, i hope he gets some after care from the show because he is going to need it. Talk about pot calling the kettle black, cruella was on bryce back all season and she is just as bad even worse. So happy for belinda and patrick, and kerry and johnny, i don’t think melissa and bryce will last. Cannot wait for next season.

Bec and Bryce are two peas in a pod. Lies after lies. Bec gaslit Booka and Bryce for an innocent kiss without giving it a second thought just as Bryce denied the gift repeatedly and told Mel his Tinder girl was a friend of a friend. Wow. These two sociopaths. Mel will eventually need professional help to put her self identity back together (going back to the 12 yrs she was the booty call for her now married ex and working forward). Cam and Coco are also sociopaths who cannot see what they did was whacko. The former expert, Trish, said she left the show because the producers wanted the wrong type of people on the show for entertainment value. She was right…but I love the ride!!

Thanks for the ride – but all things come to an end. The formula for this reality TV show has lost it’s way, ratings and drama over substance. Big Brother from Channel 4 UK suffered the same fate. Producers seem to think you’ve got to create drama to keep viewers. Not so. at great authors state, “show, don’t tell”. Go back to genuinely believing in the experiment, let it play out and see if it works. Is it about beauty and biceps, is it about gas-lighting, no accountability and deceit? Or do we watch it for enrichment, hope, the personalities, be them introspective or expressive. I think the latter. I hope the next series will be funded for just that, please don’t make this into flippant soap. How did they get Bec’s video? Karma will always get you, and Rebecca Zemek… shame on you, hypocrite. Melissa, good luck and for Bryce nationally proclaiming your “friends” are liars, look at the episode, their awkwardness masking your lies. Parts of this season have been contrived and playing to the rubber-necking instinct of emotional trauma, I do hope future seasons go back to the core ethos – come on you can do it 🙂
I agree. This is the same fate that befell the American version, but much earlier. Experts signing on Narcissists and Sociopaths maybe makes for dramatic TV, but is not the experiment that viewers find interesting–hoping for good outcomes.

Becca…her behaviour towards Jake throughout this experiment has been disgraceful. However, if you go to the episode where they went to the cinema and the family were there to talk to them, you can see where she gets it from. Apple sure didn’t fall far from the tree.
Bryce.. want to say that I have no words, but what a lying piece of turd he is. Felt sorry for Melissa, but now I just give up with her too. Even his mother said that she would have left him if it was her partner. How much more proof do you need. Hope Melissa finally sees the light!

Am actually gutted that Alana and Jason didn’t make it. They clearly still care deeply for each other. It’s like they were both guarding their true feelings on this final episode. Such a shame they can’t work through it.

Thank you from Texas for allowing me to be able to watch MAFS-AU also. Couldn’t you possibly do 2 seasons per year so we don’t have to wait a whole year for our “fix”. It is truly so much better than the US MAFS.
Melissa is of the belief (and you could see it on her face the whole show like when he would constantly insult her and she wouldn’t say anything because she was afraid she might lose him) that “something is better than nothing”. Such a shame. Be happy with yourself and don’t depend on someone to make you happy.

Why didn’t they talk to Jo and James? I knew Bec was horrid from day one! She was a nasty, nasty child who should have been called out on her behavior long before the final episode. Jake was entirely too good for her. I think he and Georgia would make a nice couple!! I see my old self in Melissa and wish she would have gotten out before 2 babies. He will always lie and never ever change. I lived it for 20 years, I know his kind all too well. Pat and Bel are cute but she has some maturing to do yet. Alanah and Jason clearly still love each other. Maybe in time they will realize it. Beth seems lovely and was totally mismatched which was a shame. This was a good season but let’s keep the Coco’s and Bec’s out of next season!!

An exercise like the honesty box, or ranking the photo’s of the participants, is absolutely not a good way to get people to know each other, but is a way to put people on the spot and create needless conflict, injecting drama for TV audience, but hurting participants. As ‘therapists’ signals a complete dearth of integrity!!

Bec was a set up all along. Her behaviour and her treatment of Jake was clearly weird from the start and what Bryce said about his friends being told to lie echoes what previous cast members have said so I do believe that the scenario where they continually had Bec going on about Bryce cheating was what she was there to do and they probably were false. Just like the final scene with her at home with her dog where she just happened to get caught kissing a guy….. Come on now MAFS you’re not even trying anymore!
