IMO, Mat was robbed. Neither of those girls would have made it to the summit if he hadn’t selected them as his final group, relied on his strategy and protected them when they were being targeted. He may not be disappointed, but I am. Greed is an ugly thing.
I agree with you. Matt is the reason they made it! Char wanted to be this role model for people with differing abilities. That was demonstrated by her courage, strength, ability to adapt, and perseverance. However, the other part of being a role model is character. In the end, Char took more of the money for herself instead of splitting it equal. All 3 supported each other, helped each other, protected each other, and encouraged each other. They made the summit together. Char took the most money. What does that say about her character?
