Anyone want to tell Cody that if you reject someone because of their nationality then it IS racist. It was bad enough that he asked her where she is “actually from” at the altar. Selina has already opened up to having people target her because of her background, to match her with this ignorant fool is misguided.
He was unimpressed by her the minute he saw her at the alter. And she was being bubbly and optimistic about their partnership. I just knew it was because she was Asian. Let’s face it, people of colour haven’t had good luck on this show. It’s definitely racism, no doubt!

This is absolutely a misguided 21st century mindset , it is not racist to say finding black women unattractive or asian males not your type. It is called preference. However Cody is an absolute fool I agree. Theres so many other aussie guys that do include her in their preference, sad thery gave her Cody. The last asian lady on this show Cyrell had a partner who didn’t mind her ethnicity and shes now married to a Euro-aussie.

I am an Asian and I agree with your point. Yes everyone has their preference or right to find other person unattractive. But what Cody did wrong is that when the experts mentioned his type of women, he didn’t specifically say that Asian is not his type. If he had problem with them, he should have said that. Poor Selina! She didn’t deserve this. Her life was already complicated and the experts did her dirty.
Why would I specifically go out of my way to start a relationship with someone from the Trans community?? That’s just fetishisation. You get into relationships because you click with them as a person. I do not disagree with preferences but if you disregard a budding relationship with someone compatible because of their race then it is racist.
Why tf do people mention black women or Asian men when they had nothing to do with it. Also having a preference means you still include that group but not as highly as the rest. When I don’t like something, I just don’t do it and not mention it. Bunch of weirdos.

I think Selin doesn’t have self-awareness. She said she wanted an old-fashioned man, who is sensitive and kind. Guess it’s only if they are sensitive to HER needs. I think she was wrong with the way she treated him while on the honeymoon. She needs to lighten up. No sense of humor.
